Sports taking place on the premises of the College (Circuit Training, Jogalates, Pilates, Self Defence and Paddle) are provided free of charge to students. Other sports are charged at a per semester fee (rental contribution). Please wait to pay after the first class of the semester. The fee must be paid by the end of the 3rd teaching week of the semester, and must be paid in cash to the school account: 86-2735860297/0100. The specific symbol can be found in the IS as a number for payments related to studies (IS-personal-payments and symbols). You must indicate the variable symbol, see the course annotation or the sports overview.

 

Summary of semester sports provided by the VŠPJ Sports Cabinet

Note: In each current semester, a specific mix of sports is listed, which may not include all of the sports in this long-term offering. It is therefore always important to keep an eye on the current list for that semester.
  • Sport - Aerobics: A - Focus on aerobics: Aerobic exercises suitable especially for female students, with or without music, creating your own routines, stretching. Pilates exercises. B - Focus on dance: creation and training of dance routines (choreography to music), alternation of dance styles street dance and rock and roll, team preparation of final routines, performing at balls or dance competitions.
  • Sport - Badminton: Practice and improvement of defensive and offensive actions, singles, doubles, tournaments organised by the school, possibly participation in other tournaments. Played in the hall of TJ Start, where there are 6 courts for singles.
  • Sport - Martial Sports: The aim is to introduce students to the content of martial sports and grappling, the principles of their use. Students will also learn to master the basic elements of self-defense. Fighting is a physical exercise that involves contact with an opponent. In direct confrontation, one seeks to overcome his resistance or defeat him. Grappling is closely related to self-defence. The course provides elementary knowledge and skills in grappling. A martial art is a set of practices or traditions that teaches how to behave in a fight with an opponent; a combat sport then tests this art in a competitive form.
  • Sport - Basketball: Practice of the basic game actions of the individual (dribbling, shooting, two-point shooting), offensive combinations, zone and personal defense. Basic basketball theory and rules. Everything is practiced in game, at least two mini-tournaments of teams during the semester.
  • Sport - Floorball:  Basic rules of the game, improvement of individual play and practice of combinations. Participation in tournaments organized by the school or participation in competition. A new group will be opened for girls.
  • Sport - Futsal:  Training of offensive and defensive actions of an individual, training of combinations, for those interested possible participation in the municipal league of small football.
  • Sport - Gynegymnastics (for VS and PA): The purpose of this course is to introduce students to health exercises specifically focused on the maternity period. The procedures, methods or choice of physical activity are different for each period of pregnancy. Exercise is also appropriate as prevention of incontinence and functional sterility. A range of exercises for the whole period of pregnancy (divided into three parts corresponding to the different trimesters and for the postpartum period); basics of yoga and pilates for pregnancy - mainly focused on posture - personal training in the gym or for home practice; exercises on large balls and with overballs; exercises on the barefoot; exercises for coping with the different periods of labour; exercises in the first days after childbirth and in the sixth week, etc.
  • Sport - Conditioning Exercises: A - Gym: Familiarization with the structure of the fitness unit, development of individual training plans. Circuit training, individual controlled weight training. Basic theoretical knowledge and the contribution of nutrition to successful training. Stock of exercises for warm-up, warm-down and final relaxation including stretching. B - Gym: This workout is particularly suitable for girls, takes place in the school gym and combines simple aerobic training (without challenging aerobic choreography) with appropriate weight training that is targeted to improve fitness and body shaping. 
  • Sport - Ropes and climbing activities: Training in climbing, abseiling and belaying techniques on an artificial wall. Wall height 5,5 m, width 15 m. The routes are graded according to difficulty and are changed regularly. Depending on the possibility of training on low and high rope obstacles.
  • Sport - Locomotion Outdoor Activities: The course involves exercise in the outdoors and in convenient urban locations. It includes the following forms of exercise: Fitness running (paced according to students' abilities and capabilities); jogging (running at a leisurely pace, which may include talking, and may be interspersed with walking); walking (fast walking in a sporty manner); Nordic Walking (fast walking with using special sticks, trekking poles can also be used); orienteering (running, walking, possibly also cycling connected with orientation in the terrain and searching for habitats with the help of a map, bouzoula, etc.14 training units, at least one dedicated to each of the activities, the others according to the students' choice.
  • Sport - Swimming: Conditioning swimming and improvement of technique of each swimming method - crawl, breaststroke, breaststroke or butterfly. Training will be adapted to the level of the participants. Maximum number of swimmers per lane - 8.
  • Sport - Self Defense: Practice safe falls, basic defensive strikes and kicks. Basics of self-defence - theory and practice of falls. Self-defence moves and moves. Defence against knife attack. Psychological training. Disarming an attacking opponent - defence against kicks and punches. Self-defence using elements of karate, judo and other combat sports and martial arts.
  • Sport - Spinning: Riding on stationary bikes accompanied by music - speed, endurance, interval training.
  • Sport - Table Tennis: Practice and improvement of game situations, singles, doubles in the hall of SK Jihlava, where six tables are available.
  • Sport - Tennis: Practice and improvement of defensive and offensive actions, singles, doubles, tournaments organized by the school, possibly participation in other tournaments. Depending on the weather either in the pressurized hall of the TENISCENTRE, where three courts are available, or on the clay courts of the same centre. 
  • Sport - Volleyball: Practice of basic game actions of an individual (hitting two-handed underhand, overhead, serve, smash, block). Basic volleyball theory and rules. Everything is practiced in game, at least two mini-tournaments of teams during the semester.
  • Sport - Health TV: Exercises for correct posture. Exercises according to the method of L. Mojžíšová. Exercises according to R. Brunkow. Yoga exercises. Relaxation, stretching and strengthening exercises. Diagnostics. Balance exercises. Exercises with aids - large balls, bosu and others. Spinal exercises.
